By accessing or using ActuaryPractice.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by CERTIN LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

ActuaryPractice provides actuarial exam preparation materials including flashcards, mini exams, full-length practice exams, study guides, and educational content for SOA and CAS preliminary examinations. The Service is available through free and paid subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. One account per person is permitted. Sharing account credentials is prohibited.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

The Service offers three tiers: Free ($0), Full Access ($39.99/month), and Lifetime ($299 one-time payment). Full Access subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Lifetime plans include a single-device restriction and are non-transferable.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on ActuaryPractice.com, including flashcards, exam questions, study guides, blog posts, and other educational materials, is the intellectual property of CERTIN LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any content without our prior written consent. The content protection measures on the site are in place to protect our intellectual property.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Share, redistribute, or resell any content from the Service
Use automated tools to scrape, download, or copy content
Circumvent content protection measures
Create multiple accounts to bypass free tier limitations
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the content is free of errors or that using the Service will result in passing any actuarial examination. ActuaryPractice is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CERTIN LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Paid subscribers may request a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
